This is an exciting time to be working as a geologist in the great State of Michigan!  The Executive Committee and several outstanding volunteers are actively working on several fronts to strengthen the Section, advance the profession of geology within the State, and establish the AIPG as an active participant in the legislative process.  Please stay tuned intriguing times are ahead.

AIPG-Michigan and other geologist groups are working together with businesses, industries and the public to require licensure of Professional Geologists doing work here in Michigan.  Additional information regarding the licensure of Michigan Professional Geologists is contained in the following links.
