E-mail your earth science question to: Ask-A-Geologist to be answered by the staff of the Michigan Geological Survey.

• Please include a return address in the body of your message.
• You should receive a reply in a few days but we can't guarantee a reply to every message.
• We encourage students to send in questions but we won't write reports or answer test questions for you.  Ask-A-Geologist is not a substitute for studying or library research.
• We can't answer questions about specific locations.
  (For example, Is my home in a landslide area?)
• We can't answer questions with financial impacts.
  (For example, How much gold is left in Rope's gold mine?)
• We can't recommend products or companies.
